Privacy statement

Shippics rents out photobooths by parcel in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Luxembourg. We are the controller for your account, booking and payment data. Questions? Email hallo@shippics.be.

Account data: name, email address, language preference and password (stored encrypted).

Booking data: event date, delivery address and payment status. Payment runs through our payment provider; we never see or store your card or account details.

Event photos: the photos and photo strips taken during your event, plus the designs and logos you upload.

We deliberately collect nothing from guests: no name, no email. Guests pick up their photos via the QR code, without registration.

As the renter you are responsible for the photos taken at your event; Shippics facilitates storage and the gallery. If a guest asks you to remove their photos, you handle that in your gallery management. Our support remains available as a safety net.

Event photos and sessions: automatically deleted 90 days after your event. You receive an email beforehand so you can download everything, and you can always delete earlier yourself.

Strip designs and uploaded logos: kept until you delete your account, so you can reuse them for a next booking.

Booking and payment data: kept for the statutory (accounting) period.

Technical booth telemetry never contains photos or guest data and is erased after 90 days.

All personal data and photos are hosted and stored in the European Union (Microsoft Azure, West Europe region).

You can view and edit your data in your account. You can delete your account entirely from your account page: we then erase your events, photos, designs and personal data. Booking and payment data remain stored in anonymised form for as long as the law requires.

You also have all GDPR rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

We only use functional cookies: signing in and your language choice. No tracking, no advertising cookies. That is why you will not see a cookie banner here.
